You should try to get a high seed then.


Conference champs should get the high seeds - I know one would not, but that is just one (the lowest ranked one). They really need to make conference championships important - they have auto bids and probably get a home game - if they don't then I see a world where Bama is the SEC champ and UGA and LSU are at large and all 3 get a home game. Each conference should be limited to one home team.

Think about what that would do for the ACC championship game. If we made it and beat Clemson, we would not only get into the playoff - we would play a home game. Clemson, if they made it would have to win on the road against another Conf champ.
